The LA office of Hook called looking for help with some Google projects and we were happy to collaborate. Together we created two tabletop spots and a piece for Google's IO Conference in May. The tabletop spots were directed by Josh Madson and edited at Hook. The other spot, called “Pretty Please,” was directed by the wonderful Soma Helmi using real Google employees and their children. This spot started the discussion about being more polite when asking questions of your Google assistant.
One of the fun things about this project was that it premiered during Google’s IO Conference in front of a live audience. It was shown as part of a bigger discussion about interacting with the Google Assistant. Our spot was making the case for children to learn to be more polite. Here is a clip.
